- Authentic Gampi Fiber – The "Cicada Wing" Paper: Made from traditional Gampi (雁皮) bark fiber, this paper is known for its legendary thinness and strength. Often called "cicada wing paper" for its translucent, ethereal quality, it remains tear-resistant despite its delicate appearance—a quality valued by artists and conservators for centuries.
- Ultra-Thin & Strong: At approximately 12gsm, each sheet measures 0.04mm thick—thin enough to see through yet strong enough to withstand handling, rubbing, and layering. The long, resilient Gampi fibers create a natural structural web that resists tearing even when wet, making it suitable for botanical rubbings, fine-line sketching, and art restoration.
- Dual-Surface Design for Versatile Techniques: One side offers a smooth finish for high-precision pen work, stamping, and fine calligraphy; the other side has a gentle tooth that grips watercolor, gouache, and pencil pigments. This dual-sided design gives you creative flexibility while maintaining the paper's natural lightweight character.
- Antique Aesthetic & Ink Control: Available in pure white, naturally aged vintage tone, and deep amber, each sheet offers a distinct visual character. The semi-raw surface provides excellent ink control with minimal bleeding or feathering, making it an ideal choice for Chinese calligraphy, brush painting, and detailed botanical illustrations.
- Large Format Bulk Pack for Endless Creativity: Each 100-sheet pack provides generous 13.8×16.5 inch (35×42cm) sheets—more workspace than standard A4. Suitable for junk journaling, collage layering, scrapbooking, card making, lantern crafting, and mixed media projects. Whether you're creating large-scale backgrounds or cutting custom sizes, this bulk pack delivers professional-quality performance at a competitive price.
