- HEAVYWEIGHT COTTON CANVAS, NOT THIN GAUZE — Woven cotton canvas that drapes with weight instead of billowing off the bowl. Thicker and more durable than the light muslin covers that fray after a few washes.
- USE DAMP FOR HUMID PROOFING — Run the cover under water, wring it out, and drape it over your bowl. The dense weave holds moisture far longer than a thin cloth, keeping your dough surface supple through a long bulk ferment without plastic wrap.
- BLOCKS LIGHT AND HOLDS WARMTH — Opaque canvas shields dough from direct light and adds a layer of insulation, helping maintain a steadier temperature during rise. Flour it lightly and it releases cleanly from sticky dough.
- ELASTIC EDGE FITS 4"– 9" BOWLS — A sewn elastic hem grips the rim of mixing bowls, banneton baskets, and serving dishes. Also works as a food cover for rising dough, sourdough starter, proofing baskets, or leftovers on the counter.
- UNDYED, WASHABLE, MADE TO LAST — No dyes and no bleach — just natural off-white cotton. Machine wash and reuse indefinitely, replacing hundreds of sheets of single-use plastic wrap.
